My journey began following a vacation in Newfoundland and attempting to paint its beautiful vistas. Initially frustrated by the rapid drying-time of acrylics, I was fortunate enough to connect with Charles Spratt who has mentored me along the way and encouraged me as a plein air artist. Retirement has afforded me the opportunity to reconnect with nature and attempt to capture her beauty in light and shadow.
