Membership

Membership is open to everyone, however the vast majority of our members are painters. MAA represents artists, novice to professional, within a 60km radius of the iconic landmark Watson’s Mill in Manotick, Ontario. Membership does have its privileges. You may:

attend monthly meeting and view presentation by established and well-known artists;
display images of your artwork on the Artist’s Gallery on the MAA website;
share your artwork on the MAA Facebook and Instagram pages;
exhibit your artwork at a number of different local venues;
participate in MAA supported workshops;
participate in the “Inspirations” Art Show & Sales (Spring – juried, Fall – open);
participate in local weekly paint-ins (winter) or paint-outs (also known as Plein Air) (summer);
receive monthly newsletter and other info/notifications by email

Renewing Members:

If you are renewing your membership for 2024/2025, it is not necessary to fill out the application form again. Simply send your $25 membership fee by e-transfer (preferred) or Paypal to: treasurer@manotickart.ca.

Membership Fee is $25. Our membership year runs from September 1 to August 31. New members joining after April 1 will be paid up through August 31 of the following year.
